2013 Adastra Vineyard Pinot Noir
GOLD MEDAL WINNER - SF CHRONICLE!
Richness & depth abound; good idea to decant this one so it can breathe, open up and wow you with all its glory in your glass.
2013 Adastra Vineyard Pinot Noir begins with a beautiful garnet color and big dark cherry bouquet. Rich aromas of blueberry, currant, ripe cantaloupe and slate waft out of the glass; the wine is richly textured with firm structure and an amazing array of flavors ranging from blackberry and sweet spice to white chocolate, brown rice, clay and a whisper of caraway. The finish continues with lingering flavors of pure Bing cherry juice.
